Tammy Gagne was presented Thursday with the 2013 REALTOR of the Year award by the Lincoln County Board of Realtors. This award is presented annually to a member of the Board of REALTORS that recognizes one of their members for their outstanding service to the Realtor organization, their profession and their community. Tammy has been a full time REALTOR for over 25 years in Lincoln County. She was instrumental in the merger of the South Lincoln Association of Realtors and the Lincoln County Board of Realtors, creating a unified membership of Realtors to serve clients and customers in all of Lincoln County. She has served on the Boards of Directors of both entities over the years and currently serves on the Lincoln County Board as their Vice President.
She is active in her community, serving on the Waldport Planning Commission from 1987 to 1989 and as a Waldport City Councilor from 1991-1993. She served as a volunteer for the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office Victims Assistance Department as a courtroom Advocate & Parole Notification to Victims form 1988 – 1990, and was a Waldport Reserve Police Officer from 1992 – 1993.
Tammy is also an accomplished artist. Her watercolor paintings are among some of the best we’ve ever seen and she creates glass beads jewelry in her home studio. You can view some of her work on her website “Oregon Mist Beads”. She is a member of SRA “Self Representing Artists” and ISBC “International Society of Bead Makers”. As in everything Tammy does, she strives to do the best she can and her artistry is testament to that
We applaud Tammy’s outstanding service to the Realtor organization and her community with this prestigious award. She is an outstanding representative of our profession.
