Welcome to the Central Oregon Coast

Located midway between Washington and California, Lincoln County is "The Heart of the Oregon Coast"TM and incorporates the communities of Depoe Bay, Eddyville, Elk City, Harlan, Kernville, Lincoln City, Logsden, Newport, Tidewater, Toledo, Siletz, Seal Rock, South Beach, Waldport, and Yachats.

Stretching more than 60 miles along the Pacific Ocean, Lincoln County boasts natural wonders from Cascade Head and Cape Perpetua to the lush evergreen forests of the Coast Range. Within these borders sit some of Oregon's most picturesque coastal scenery, rugged cliff lines and vast sandy beaches.

Only two hours from Portland and an hour from the I-5 corridor, family travelers find a wide range of activities, whether it's walking along the miles of public beaches, golfing on the area's many courses, deep-sea fishing, crabbing or clamming. There is always time for whale watching and lighthouse exploring.

The down-home environment of hospitality every season of the year, makes the Central Oregon Coast memorable. Name your sport - sport fishing or mountain biking, flying a kite on the beach or flying a plane over the beach, scuba diving or hiking, biking or windsurfing - recreational opportunities abound. Afterwards, enjoy our great restaurants and the freshest seafood around, or experience our region's culture and heritage at dozens of excellent galleries and various local museums.

Lincoln County has more State Parks and public waysides than anyother county in the state of Oregon, many along uncrowded beaches and pristine scenery. The scenic central Oregon Coast invites you to visit.

The cities of Lincoln County are readily accessed along U S Highway 101 - the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway. We offer fully developed resort communities with every possible amenity to quiet coastal towns where the loudest sounds you will hear are the waves on the shoreline and the seagulls overhead.

The solitude of the quiet months on the Central Oregon Coast brings relaxing stretches of peaceful beaches, untouched tidepools as well as nights in front of a fireplace. Storm watching brings the winter fury of the Pacific, capturing your breath as the crashing waves pound therock beaches and send water shooting into the sky.

EVERY day of the year, the Central Oregon Coast welcomes you.
