Siletz, Oregon
Siletz is located just north of Toledo, on Highway 229. Siletz is the site of the annual Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Pow Wow each August. Representatives of tribes from all over the Northwest come together for this week-long event.
The Siletz river is loved for its fishing and swimming. Just east of the city is Moonshine park, its known for its beautiful, secluded eighteen acres on the banks of the Upper Siletz River. Fishing and swimming holes are plentiful along this stretch of the Siletz.

Temperatures in this inland community are usually 15 to 20 degrees warmer than in the coastal towns, and it is less windy. The dense forests and surrounding mountains make Siletz a lovely place to live and visit.
